Surgery's Over

August 28, 2008

She's in recovery and they got the end of the tube out. Now they will allow her to rest and keep her on antibiotics and that hopefully will take care of the infection.

More later much love

Praise God for His many Blessings! He knows what we need before we do. I am so glad everything went OK. Just keep your head and heart up cause that's where Jesus IS !!

Christy,
My son, Zack and I had devotions together today and we spent time in prayer for Danni. We know God has the power to heal her. He is able. So, we are boldly asking for that. I just want to say how much I appreciate reading your posts. You are so genuine and transparent in your posts, but I know that you are holding onto God with every last bit of strength. I know this might now make a lot of sense when you are standing in the middle of where you are right now. But it is very obvious to see that He is holding you in his hands, guiding you, and giving you the peace you need. Everything you share on here (even the hard stuff) always points back to our loving Father and his firm grip on you and Danni.
Tell your Sharky that we're praying that she can put this hospital craziness behind her and go on to live a bold and crazy life for God.
Love, Jill Winslow

I pray God gives you peace this week during this difficult time. I understand going from one doctor to another. My son went in the hospital on Tues. with dehydration (it is really hot here in Florida) and have been finding out there is more to things and different problems. He is seeing doctor #4 in the morning. Being 18 and all boy he just wants to come home. One doctor says you can come home today then another comes in and says no. It is hard. As a mother this is the first night I am home. It is hard to not be that mother bear no matter how old they get. They are old enough to sign for consent, but it is us that helps them make the decisions. I will stop by the chapel on my way to see my son in the morning and pray for Danni and you for this difficult week. God Bless.

Very happy to hear that her surgery went well. Love and Prayers will be said tonight before I fall to sleep. Tomorrow will be another gift from God and I am sure it will be wonderful. I have extreme faith in his love and know he is with us all. Amen

From one "mother bear" to another...My heart goes out to you, I can honestly say I know what you are going through and I will be praying for your son.

God is doing remarkable things in young people these days, it seems they are facing such grave things. But know this God has a plan and a purpose and he is going to use these young people to the MAX!!

Otherwise, why would they have to overcome such difficulties the likes of which we as parents have never even seen in our own lives.

He has a plan and a purpose! Big things are coming! I know that you trust him. I'll be praying for God's glory and will in your situation.

Hey Danni, this is Matt Miller. Just a note to say hi and that I am praying for you. I am leaving this morning for basic training for the Army National Guard, so you take it easy.
