Don't Give Up on Her

March 1, 2008
Danni is quiet today. I'm sure she isn't looking forward to next week. Pray for her spirit.

Another note -- Please don't be offended, friends of Danni, that she doesn't want to see anyone. Don't take it personally and give up on her. She's dealing with a lot and needs time. Thank you for the love you've shown her by giving her quiet time here at home, even when you just can't wait to see her. Proverbs 17:17 says, "A friend loves at all times." I am amazed at all her devoted friends, she is truly blessed. I'd have a hard time being apart from her too!

Danni,

A time has come for you to be tested...and your family. Hold to the truth...God is in control and He loves you very, very much. You will endure through His strength and not your own. Trust Him even when things look awful....you may feel like giving up at times...but He may have a higher purpose for you here on earth. I know all of this first hand, because you see, my mother went through this type of cancer. She was diagnosed with glioma/astrocytoma/glioblastoma. Her range was high 3 or 4...I can't remember exactly. But the fact of the matter is this. They gave her less then six months to live. She was litterally on her death bed with-in that time period. She could not walk, barely talk, go to the bathroom on her own....they were calling in hospice. But God had a different plan. It is currently almost six years later and she is doing remarkably well. Don't get me wrong...the first few years were very difficult, but as we prayed and trusted God...He continued to deliver her. She endured surgury, implants in her brain, radiation, and more. They wanted to do a second surgury and we said no. We trusted God, prayed, and let Him do His work. There is so much I want to tell you, so if you or your family would like to talk to me or my mother, please feel free to email me at amybarker777@msn.com and we can exchange numbers. True peace that surpasses all understanding comes when you lay it all out before God and trust him. You have to give up and believe there is nothing you can do except TRUST GOD! In His Love, Amy
