Change Comes Quickly...Never Give Up!

November 1, 2008

Danni was having some anxious moments last night and several times in the night without knowing it she took her oxygen off. I slept in a chair with one of the tragedy coordinators nearby on her little red couch. I had to sleep in the chair near her to put the oxygen back into her nose.

Today has also been an anxious day for her when she is awake. After speaking with the hospice nurse today, we've decided to keep her medicated on a regular basis to keep her calm rather than just when she thinks she needs it. Danni was in agreement when I told her the nurse said that she really should be taking the meds on a scheduled basis.

Her breathing is the major issue.

Nevertheless, we will not give up hope that the Lord will heal her! NEVER GIVE UP! That's what Danni said she had learned and so we will NEVER GIVE UP HOPE! AMEN!

Danni.. I wanted you to know that you touched several people today. I believe that angels are here on earth, they look just like us, and they cross our paths to teach us lessons. If we are listening, we get the message they are here to teach. If we are not, we must struggle through until the next angel tries again.

A friend of yours encouraged us to read your blog today, and after reading about your strength and courage, my friend found the strength she needed to go on herself.

Thank you for being an angel, Danni.. and God bless you and your family.

Our sermon this morning was about vines and branches. Jesus is our vine and we are the branches. Jesus gives us the nourishment we need to live each day. Without him we branches could not live. God the father is our gardenar. He knows how to take care of us branches.
You are always in our prayers.

Just take it minute by minute day by day...praise God along the way.
He will take care of Danni (as he does us all) He walks beside us all.
Prayers are you!

We second what JJ just said....
we know God has the power to do all things and ask that His will might be to heal you, Danni, right now! Amaze those who don't believe, to have their eyes opened to your mighty goodness. We would so rejoice to have time to know you better, for you are one very special person! We love you and your family...
