Waiting for an Answer to Prayer

November 25, 2008

Danni is deteriorating quickly it seems, I won't go into detail but I think we will say that she needs a miracle and we are down to the wire.

Believe me when I say that I very much understand that healing comes in many forms and I am not holding God to a particular form, that is his business with Danni and none of mine.

After seeing the kind of suffering I have seen the last 10 months, I am asking God for healing mercy of ANY kind!

I do, however, hold unwavering and undoubting to the FACT that God CAN heal her on this earth IF HE so chooses!

SO...Please pray that we get her new pain meds working properly. Pain meds are not something we want a lapse in and they are trying some new things for her all mixed into 1 thing that we can give every 4 hours or so.

This has become necessary because Danni is having a lot of trouble swallowing pills. She is having quite a bit of pain and anxiety when she is conscience.

Well, I'm falling asleep while writing this so if it isn't making much sense that's why. Anyways, GOD IS GOOD TO US ALL THE TIME! GOD IS IN CONTROL! And thanks for your continued prayers!

My sister in the Lord. I am praying for your precious Danni and am praying for God's deliverance.

Your Faith and devotion is one that we all need to take lesson from.

I am praying that God's will be done. Your headline states praying and waiting for an answer. You already have God's answer. And he is working in his time.

Danni's work is not just complete yet but when it is God will bring his precious child home with him.

I continue to pray for strength and healing for you and your family.

I cannot imagine what you are going through but as I read your updates it is as if Danni is a part of my family as well, because my heart is so full with the struggle her physical body is going through. I wish there was something more I could do but I know prayer is enough right now. I am sending you hugs and kisses for you and Dani and the rest of your family and everyone whose life Danni has touched.

I love you and my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

Remember the Lord is Faithful and Just and his Mercy and Grace endure th all things and is everlasting. Through it all look not to your own understanding but know that God makes no mistakes.

Love and Peace.....dls6267

A devotional from Purpose Driven Life:

The New Testament gives great emphasis to our rich “inheritance.” It tells us, “My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19 NIV). As children of God we get to share in the family fortune. Here on earth we are given the riches of his grace, kindness, patience, glory, wisdom, power, and mercy.

But in eternity we will inherit even more.

Paul said, “I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance he has given to his people” (Ephesians 1:18 NLT). What exactly does that inheritance include?

· First, we will get to be with God forever.

· Second, we will completely change to be like Christ.

· Third, we will be freed from all pain, death, and suffering.

· Fourth, we will be rewarded and reassigned positions of service.

· Fifth, we will get to share in Christ’s glory.

What an inheritance! You are far richer than you realize.

The Bible says, “God has reserved a priceless inheritance for his children. It is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay” (1 Peter 1:4 NLT).

I have read this blog from the day that it started. I have never before commented, but today feels different. I don't have magical words to say, but I feel compelled to tell you that this blog has touched my life.

Your words and the journey that Danni and your family have shared so publicly with the rest of the world have made a difference to many lives, and I know because mine is one of them.

I am not the best at sharing public prayer, but I will continue to include Danni and your family in my personal prayers.

Thank you for the inspiration to live a better life.

Like the Shepherd he leads his flock, gathering the Lambs in his arms, holding them tenderly close to his heart, leading them .......home.
Suffering is nothing by itself. But suffering shared with the passion of Christ is the most beautiful willing to give until it hurts. We all are blessed to read your writings and walk beside you in this journey. You have taught us not to be discouraged by casting all worries and cares on the Lord, and to then walk in total freedom.
Eternity spent in the audience of God will be Danni's reward.

I'm thinking about you, Danni and your family constantly now, I wish I could say something profound but I can only say, I hurt for you, I want this child to live and be well, but if its not to be, then please God, no more suffering.
Bless you all.

Danni, thank you for being a living example of what we are all capable of in Jesus Christ! Your devotion to the Lord even in times of great pain and sadness have taught me so much. I will never forget your amazing spirit throughout this very difficult journey. Right now I pray for God's loving hand to cover you and your family. I pray that he would give you freedom from your pain. And that if it would be HIS will, that you would be miraculously healed.
