3:30 AM Thanksgiving Day

Danni went with Jesus to a place better than here.

She went to sleep, peaceful sleep.

Please know that we're all here for you anytime you need us to be. We thank you for always keeping us uptodate on Danni. She brought so much joy to everyone of us who knew her, her joking around an laughter etc. We all have cherished memories of Danni, she's sleeping a peaceful sleep now with no more pain. She had so much courage and fought a hard battle. Her faith never waivered, she thought of others even during all of her pain that she endured. Christie reading this blog daily gave me so much encouragement and the way you helped all of us without really knowing you were. Spreading his word was simply awesome and all of us who came to this blog daily appreciated it. Thankyou for letting us share your hard rough road, many of us have had to walk that same path with a loved one and its the hardest thing we've ever had to do. Your love for Danni was so wonderful ans she appreciated all that you did for her. She's now at peace and God was holding her hand the whole way. My prayers are with you and the family as you make that last step with Danni. We're here for all of you whenever you need us. Thank you again for sharing such a touching journey of love and faith.

Christy, I'm so happy that Danni has her new pain-free, cancer-free perfect body now. She is spending Thanksgiving with her Lord and Savior. You have the peace of knowing that you will see her again. But as a mom, I know your heart must be breaking. Danni is so lucky to have such a wonderful loving family. I know it will be hard for you to go through daily life without her. My prayer will be for God to lift up your family and fill that empty place left by Danni's "going home." May he truly be your comfort!

I am overwhelmed! Not that she is gone, but that God loves her so much more than we can imagine and when she was the one lost sheep He was willing to stop everything and use even cancer and the unwavering faith and support of her parents so that she could be found. How deep the Father's love for us,How vast beyond all measure!
That He would wait until 'Thankgiving' to remind us that our every breath comes from Him and this earth is not our home!
Even so come quickly Lord!!!

I can't wait to join her!

My sister took the same journey as Danni 3 yeas ago, and left us this mesage:
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, remember me un every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles..I've only gone to resr a little while.Although my leavin causes pain and greif, my going has eased my pain and given me relief. So dry your eyesand remember me, not as I am now but as I used to be. Because I will remember you all and look on with a smile.
Understand in your hearts I've only gone to rest a little while. As long as I have the love of eack of you, i can life m life in the hearts of all of you.

Christi your sharing of this journey has had a profound effect on my life
May Gods love bring you all peace and comfort.

Wow! I'm at a loss for words. I think it has been said. Give thanks for Danni's peace. She will be missed here on earth but never from our hearts. I knew all week today would be the day God would take her home. Not just any ordinary day. I have been so blessed reading the blog each day. I pray you have the strength and faith to get through this difficult time. Maybe God will bless you to continue with the blog and continue to bless each of us. Many prayers for all of you. May you feel Gods hand all around you now and always.
Bless you and your Family!

To danni's family, Danni is in a better place then here the Lord had a plan that he could not break. My family and I went through the same problem last year with my grandfather, and the Lord Jesus Chirst helped us through. Over the past 10 months many families across the states has been checking the website to stay informed about my friend/classmate danni. I see how God has changed her life to become the spiritual god fearing person, and how he has made you'll stronger.

R.I.P dan-yell we luv u!

Through all of this everyone in the family checked this page a lot. Hoping to hear good news, hoping to hear that she can be pain free. Recenty we still checked it with the same hope. But good news is relative. At the begining good news is differnt for what it is today. Good news is that Danni is in a much better place with no pain. We all selfishly wish good news could of been in a differnt form but everything happens for a reason. Most people who posted here, knew Danni. I didn't know her very well, over this time I have heard a lot of stories, all of them make me think that I would have loved to meet her, and now I still believe that, and know that sooner or later, I will get that chance.

God Bless you all,

The Bellows family.

Unfortunately, I didn't know Danni. I read of her passing in today's Goshen News. The three thing stha caught my eye was her beautiful face, her young age, and the fact that I have a brother in law with the last name of Frain. When I saw that there was a web site, I just had to follow through. I've read quite a bit of the blog and I am so touched. First by the number of people SHE touched and second by the faith shown by Christy. I too believe that God will heal if we ask him to but it is His kind of healing that will take place. We know not how he decides who to heal and how, and that's not our business. My heart is heavy for her family and friends who are in sorrow but also my heart is also lifted to know that she is with our Lord and she will never feel pain or sadness again. As someone else said....."Praise God from whom all blessings flow". We sing this every Sunday at our Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. God be with all of you. And, you know He is!

I'm very sorry for your loss. Danni was my student her senior year and she was just about the nicest person a teacher could ask for. I know it's been a struggle for your family to face this loss. It would be for anyone. May God continue to meet your many needs as the days go by. He has healed Danni. We can be thankful for that. Best, Michael Yeakey

Until today, I didn't know of your daughter's struggle with cancer. My heart breaks for your family, but for whatever small comfort it may be worth, your Danni's story touched my heart and I wanted to express my sympathy to her family. May God hold all of you in the palm of His hand and comfort you. Please know that she is no longer in pain, but now in the presence of God. With heartfelt sympathies - Another Danielle from Elkhart
