I live in a small town in Indiana with my husband and three of our now four children. I started this blog in 2008 when my oldest daughter Danni was diagnosed with brain cancer. I am a full time mom and full time township trustee. I love to study the word of God, garden and be with my family and friends. There is nothing special about me other than I am filled with a remarkable God and I give him all credit and glory for everything in my life. I hope this blog is a blessing and encouragement to all who read it. God Bless.

The pics on the wall were a gift from a mom who has walked the path we are walking. They are prints from cross stitch patterns her daughter completed when she had the same cancer as Danni. The top one is a house with the word "welcome" and the bottom is from 2 Cor. 12:9.

Hi Danni,
I want you to know you are in our prayes, we thing of you often always have!! I have asked Dyrek since our move here to NY about you, wondering how you were and what you have been up to since we moved here. He has kept me posted, you have always had a special place in our heart and always will, your a very special person with lots of fond memories for us. I can't imagine what you are going thru at this time but I will tell you this...I have passed the original e-mail that I received from another Westview parent on and on and on. If even I just mention this to someone who doesn't even know you or Danni, the first thing they say is, can you please write down the website for me...I want to pray for her and would like to have all the detailed information necessary to do so. Then in the days to follow they will call me...ALWAYS, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM and tell me how addicted they are to the blog and how they keep it up on their screen at work all day and check it constantly and continue to pray for Danni and your family harder and harder. Christy, YOUR STRONG BELIEFS have touched so many hearts out there (very humbly, I might add)that it's unimaginable! What I tell people is, just read the blog and you will become a stronger person and parent....I PROMISE YOU THAT!! I know I have. So girlfriend, I thank you for that.
